Interactive Fiction: A Twine prototype of an original game concept, entitled “Lovecrafting.”

This is a dating/life sim where you explore a town in Victorian Era England with the goal of gaining the affections of an Eldritch God.

Game: Yarnspinner conversation for game, “The Last Werewolf” by Unnatural Freaks Studios

This Telltale-like game uses shapeshifters as an analogy for mood disorders, especially focusing on Bipolar disorder and its various forms. When I came to the project, most scenes were already written and only required additional lines or adjustments to push the narrative to have a satisfying conclusion. This scene is entirely new, using characters with pre-established voices. Character portrait tags have been removed from the script to improve readability.

Mixed Media (filmscript, audioscript, chatlog, email): “The Making Of,” WIP novel manuscript

The premise of this story — game developers not knowing they’re the subject of a reality tv show — was inspired by some of the more memorable events and characters I encountered while working in games, the kinds of things that made my colleagues and I pause and remark, “This can’t be real. It’s gotta be staged!”

(Useful context: Mary and Lara are producers for the show)

Prose: “The Look,” published globally on Amazon 27th August 2024.

This is a closed-door (no spicy scenes) romance novel written in 3rd person. Tonally, I was inspired by 2000s romance films starring Hugh Grant!
